Homeowners

• Generic building permit: Residential Building Permit Application

Note that HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing permits cannot be pulled by a homeowner but a Licensed and/or a Registered Contractor in the city limits of Muncie.

Commercial

To determine if your project may be exempt from filing with the state, please send an email to planreview@dhs.in.gov. Give a detailed description of work to be performed as well as the city and county where the work will take place. Provide a copy of the state's response to our office.
