Cornerstone Park

The completion of Cornerstone Park was a collaborative effort between the City of Muncie, George & Francis Ball Foundation, Ball Brothers Foundation, the Community Foundation of Muncie-Delware County, Community Enhancement Projects (CEP), Jay-Crew Landscaping and the Muncie Redevelopment Commission. Adjacent to Fireman's Park, Cornerstone Park began as a redevelopment of a former Muncie brownfield, and now features a performance stage, greenspace, and a tribute to the partnership between Ball State University and the City of Muncie.

The park also features Muncie's newest display of public art, EXTESS. Designed and installed by Muncie's very one ProjectiOne, the piece is a symbolic representation of the momentum and vibrancy of Muncie's downtown.
