About This Location
Centrally located on the western side of the Northview Neighborhood, Matthews Park is solely accessible from Harvard Ave. This triangular parcel is adjacent to the backyards of homes that face Glenwood Ave., Yale Ave., and Janney Ave. In the last 5 years the park had several trees centrally planted in it as though it would function as a tree nursery. This mini neighborhood park was dedicated to the city by the Northview subdivision developer. The site is an open grassy parcel of land with no amenities.
