About the Department
Public Access/Media films and records various public meetings and ensures their availability to the public. Various programs and content can be viewed on the City of Muncie’s Public Access TV channels, or through the City’s social media. While the role of the City’s overall Communications Department includes responsibilities both internally and externally, Public Access media makes up one aspect of the City’s communications strategy. Public Access Media helps ensure governmental transparency and ease of access to stated meetings.
